Strohsterne basteln
Aufgabe der Woche in der "Diva-Challenge" war es, ein Duotangle zu machen - das bedeutet, nur zwei Muster zu verwenden. Dabei sollten die Muster mit den Buchstaben der jeweils eigenen Initialen beginnen.
Ich habe eine Renaissance-Kachel verwendet, die am Wochendende frisch aus Anya Lothrops Shop unter www.zentangle.de bei mir eingetroffen sind. Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass es so vieol Spaß macht, darauf zu malen.
Ich habe mich für die Muster Henna Drum und Btl Joos entschieden, die ich noch nie zuvor auf einer Kachel verwendet habe.
Challenge of the week was, to choose only two patterns, based on the initials of each one's own name. In my case H and B.
I chose Henna Drum and Btl Joos. And I used one of the Renaissance tiles, which I got just a few days ago. Those are now available in Germany :)

Pretty! I love that rich rusty color, and the white highlights. Good combination of patterns,too. The girly-ness of the henna drum, with the funky circus clown feel of the beetlejuice. Love it!

You have gotten these two to "play" well together to create a very nice organic piece. Like the highlighting and subtle shadowing.
